The energy in the room was unmistakable.

Starting spring 2026, the School of Community Resources and Development is excited to offer a new interdisciplinary course, AI Literacy, designed to prepare students for a world where AI is rapidly transforming community work, public service and social impact.

On Thursday, Nov. 20, PRM 423 students participated in a site visit to ASU Gammage prior to the Mannheim Steamroller Concert scheduled for later that evening. 

In a recent Zoom panel hosted for students and local Phoenix nonprofit professionals, a dynamic conversation unfolded around how nonprofits are exploring, adopting and managing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in their organizations.
