CST's partner AGA recognized for sustainability

Congratulations to CST's partner Alaska Travel Industry Association’s Adventure Green Alaska (AGA) program! AGA has received full recognition by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) accreditation panel for its standards for accommodations and tour operators. AGA is the second partner of CST that has received this recognition. The other one is Sedona. CST has conducted research for both of these programs to help the destination with sustainability management.

The GSTC is a non-profit organization in the USA. It has a diverse global membership network, including UN agencies, NGO’s, national and provincial governments, leading travel companies, hotels, tour operators, individuals and communities. The GSTC establishes and manages global sustainable tourism standards. It is one of the most prestigious international accreditation bodies for sustainable tourism certification.
