Researchers look at preferences & consuming post-COVID-19


August 19, 2020 - Researchers from ASU and Hainan Universities recently published the article "Chinese residents’ preferences and consuming intentions for hotels after COVID-19 pandemic: a theory of planned behaviour approach" in Anatolia.

 

This study looks at two main points: 1) how much consumers will pay and 2) what are they going to pay for after COVID? The research is critical for hospitality and tourism managers to understand because the Chinese market for both inbound and outbound travel is one of the largest markets in the world.
