Marriott hosts student breakfast on tourism and hospitality career fair day

September 20, 2018 - ASU School of Community Resources and Development hosted its biannual Tourism and Hospitality Career Expo on Thursday, September 20 at the Downtown Phoenix campus. Six ASU undergraduate Tourism Development & Management students earned spots at the Marriott small-group networking breakfast, a semesterly occasion. They learned about internships, the Voyager (Manager-In-Training) Program, and advice on how to develop a career with the world’s largest hotel company. Special thanks to recruiters Marissa Solomita and Cheryl Buynak for hosting, and to ASU Associate Professor Woojin Lee for lending support.

Ms. Solomita's advice for students: “Think beyond the role you think you want and be open to the limitless options you didn’t even know to want!”
