October 22, 2019 - CST successfully organized the semi-annual Tourism Advisory Board meeting. The Advisory Board committed to create opportunities to connect ASU tourism programs with new partners, business and foundations; help to expand internship and career services programs; and provide advisory on curriculum or industry training. November 21, 2019 - Google Maps conducted an interview with CST Director Christine Vogt. The team wanted to learn how people used listings and reviews in Google Maps to determine the suitability of places. The interview was recorded and will be incorporated into a video for internal training. Read more
November 14, 2019 - The 2019 Navajo Nation Tourism Conference is taking place in Flagstaff, Arizona from November 13 to 15. CST representatives, Dr. Kathleen Andereck and Dr. Megha Budruk, presented results of the 2018 Navajo Nation visitor study. Read more

October 5, 2019 - On Nov 1-3, 2019, Tourism Student Association at ASU organized a study tour to Page, Arizona to help its members learn about the impact of social media-driven, viral tourism to iconic places such as Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Read more
October 22, 2019 - After twelve months of conducting surveys (from September, 2018 to August, 2019) and more than a month of data analysis, CST presented results of the Gilbert Visitor Study to the Gilbert Tourism Action Group (GTAG) on October 21, 2019. Read more

October 12, 2019 - In October, the Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) asked CST Director Christine Vogt to give a keynote address on destination and community management. Together with other speakers, Dr. Vogt shared stories about local, national, and international tourism growth. Read more
September 22, 2019 - Congratulations to CST's partner Alaska Travel Industry Association’s Adventure Green Alaska (AGA) program! AGA has received full recognition by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) accreditation panel for its standards for accommodations and tour operators. Read more
