SCRD at the Poster Contest

This spring, students from the School of Community Resources and Development (SCRD) made their mark at the ASU Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) Graduate Student Poster Contest. The event, which invites social science research students from all ASU campuses, showcased a diverse range of research topics. Students participated in categories for both proposed and completed research, with presentations evaluated on their research question, visual impact and rigor.

Among the participants, Linlin Zhang secured third place with her presentation on "When Work Becomes Play and Play Becomes Work: The Exploratory Merge in Digital Nomad Lifestyle.” Kailei Foltmer was honored for her exploration titled "Spike, Set, Self-Discovery!" which earned her an honorable mention.  Other notable presentations were from Rui Yang, discussing the barriers to adopting travel subscriptions in "Why do Travelers not sign up for Travel Subscriptions? An Innovation Resistance Theory Perspective," and from Youngsu Choi, who proposed exploratory research titled "Cross-Cultural Analysis of Motivational Climate and Positive Youth Development in Sports.”
