Walter Studios opens its doors to PRM 145

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Phoenix is an entertainment venue called Walter Studios. On Tuesday, Nov. 28, students in PRM 145 (introduction to special event management) learned about the origins of Walter Productions, the artistic vehicle installations that travel to music festivals across the country and the diversified events that happen within Studio A off 7th Avenue and Roosevelt Street.

The discussion and tour was led by Austin James who earned his special event management certificate in 2018 and now serves as the marketing manager for Walter Productions.

Students enjoyed their time checking out the venue and asking questions about the music industry, risk management strategies, inventory management and more!
