TDM 225 Site Visit @ Sheraton Downtown

Dr. Claire McWilliams and students studying hotel and resort management enjoyed a site visit at the Sheraton Downtown. This hotel has the most rooms in Arizona (1,003) and is the tallest hotel in the state. It recently underwent a renovation to create a huge community space, re-imagining a hotel "lobby" into a place to visit, eat, work, dine, meet and socialize in a wide-open, inviting, comfortable environment for locals and guests. Students got a run-down of the vast event spaces, F&B operations, rooms and guest amenities. Special thanks to HR Director Erin Flothmeier and Sales Manager Alex Mustacio for a great experience.
