SPARC in the Park Kicks off Fall Semester

SPARC members at Civic Space Park

Student members of the Sports, Parks and Recreation Club kicked off the fall semester with a gathering at Civic Space Park near the ASU Downtown campus.  Using knowledge they’ve built in the classroom, SPARC leaders planned, led and participated in community recreation activities.  True to the essence of the School of Community Resources and Development, students participated alongside each other while encouraging nearby community members to join in.

Everyone involved enjoyed fun and competitive team building sports such as spikeball, volleyball and corn hole.  We are looking forward to the next one!
