Budruk named to Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Commission

Megha Budruk, associate professor in the School of Community Resources and Development, has been formally named by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, to serve a two-year “at-large” appointment to the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Commission.  The Commission consists of seven members – two members appointed “at-large” and 5 members appointed via each of the five county districts.

The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to provide recreational and educational opportunities while protecting park resources for residents and visitors so they can enjoy a safe and meaningful outdoor experience.

The Commission had been represented in the past by Carl Yoshioka, Professor in the School of Community Resources and Development, who no longer serves.
