Public policy and nonprofit sector studies, collaborative governance in health/human services, intergovernmental relations, comparative public policy and analysis
Lili Wang is Associate Professor of Nonprofit Leadership and Management in the School of Community Resources and Development. Before joining ASU, she worked at the Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown University.
Her research focuses on individual philanthropy (charitable giving and volunteering), institutional philanthropy, collaborative governance, and international NGOs. She earned her Ph.D. in Public Administration at the University of Southern California with a study of social capital and community philanthropy. Her work on nonprofit studies has appeared in Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Nonprofit Management & Leadership, Voluntas: International Journal of Voluntary and Nonprofit Organizations, and Public Management Review.
She has worked with several students in the College's undergraduate research program, and has served as committee members for dissertations, theses and creative projects undertaken by students from the School of Community Resources and Development, School of Public Affairs, the Social Justice and Human Rights program, and the Barrett Honors College.
