The ASU Lodestar Center and the ASU School of Community Resources & Development celebrated the newest graduates from the Master of Nonprofit Studies program, graduate certificate programs in Nonprofit Leadership & Management and Social Entrepreneurship & Community Development, and Nonprofit Management Institute (NMI) Professional Certificate recipients in Nonprofit Management and Nonprofit Executive Leadership (Tucson cohort) on April 29, 2015 at the Salvation Army Southwest Division in downtown Phoenix.

The reception also honored four master’s degree candidates and alumni as they were inducted into the second class of the Nu Lambda Mu international honor society – a special national honor society for graduate students specifically in nonprofit programs. The society was established in 2012 by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council (NACC) to recognize students dedicated to the study of nonprofit management, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship and enterprise. Nu Lambda Mu seeks to advance the study of nonprofit organizations and their function in society, and to promote scholarly achievement among those who engage in these academic pursuits.
