Our mission is to inspire and empower citizens of all ages to engage in continuous learning, which - through conversations and synchronized action with neighbors and organizations - builds relationships, counters social challenges, and increases quality of life in communities in the United States and around the world.
The Partnership for Community Development works to build collaborative relationships among public and private community organizations to address critical community needs. The Partnership is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents of all ages in the communities in which we live and work by empowering community members to actively develop processes within their own communities to counter social challenges, and ultimately, increase their quality of life. The Partnership's goal is to help shape strong and healthy communities in our state, nation, and world.
In this era of shrinking resources, community agencies face unprecedented challenges in meeting existing needs, making it extremely difficult for them to devote time or energy towards planning for better futures. The Partnership for Community Development serves as a facilitator and incubator of new collaborations, partnerships, ideas, and strategic initiatives. The Partnership helps build connections that can turn into successful partnerships and coalitions for solutions.
